The Atlanta Orchid Society is just the organization for you!

The Atlanta Orchid Society was founded in 1947 as a non-profit organization. Our members come together to learn and share experience to better grow and flower these fascinating plants. Our monthly meetings and other activities provide:

• Presentations by local and world renowned experts.

• Monthly ribbon judging of member plants.

• Tours of local greenhouses including an annual tour of the non-public areas of the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Fuqua Conservatory.

• Great finds and great prices at our orchid raffles and auctions

• Nationally known vendors and regional orchid societies participate in our annual Orchid Show and Sale. Coming in March, 2010!
  

• Members also gain access to our lending library and our members-only website content.

Through our support of the Atlanta Judging center and our affiliations with the American Orchid Society, the Mid-America Orchid Congress, and the Orchid Digest Corporation, we are able to expand our knowledge of world Orchid conservation as well as exciting new hybrid and intergeneric breeding trends.
