Atlanta Orchid society Monthly Meeting Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Day Hall, on the 2nd Monday of the month at 8 PM.
American Orchid Society Monthly Judging Atlanta Judging Center, on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 2 PM at the Botanical Gardens basement workshop area. Everyone is eligible to bring orchids for an official judging. If bringing orchids, please arrive 30 minutes early to register your plants. Observers of this type of judging quickly learn what judges look for in flowers and what makes some superior to others. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether or not you bring orchids.

Orchid Shows
Among the largest annual shows in the USA are the ones held in New York City, Santa Barbara, Miami and the Redland Orchid Festival (Homestead, FL), although many other large and small cities have their own annual shows.
The Atlanta show and sale is held the second week in November every year at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Vendors from throughout the USA attend this show to display and sell their plants.
Don't forget to check your monthly newsletter, or the American Orchid Society's monthly Orchids magazine for annual orchid shows/sales throughout the USA. The majority of the shows occur during the Spring and Fall months, but there are shows every month.
