About Green Growers
Green Growers is an informal group of Atlanta Orchid Society members and friends who plan monthly educational trips to local greenhouses. All Atlanta Orchid Society members (and guests) are invited to attend. The visits are usually on Saturday mornings, and sometimes the visits are to local commercial greenhouses, but usually they are to hobby greenhouses. The purpose of the visits is to see how other people grow their orchids (and other greenhouse plants), along with handy tips on greenhouse construction and maintenance. The majority of our visits are to hobby greenhouses, so that we can learn how people just like ourselves successfully manage a backyard hobby greenhouse.
